Initial setup. Begin with the disc near one sideline with a handler, 1, marked by D1, and a cutter 2 in a central position downfield, marked by D2. Another continuation cutter, 3, is positioned further downfield.

Having “sealed” the space from D1, 1 cuts to the open side. 2 throws a leading pass to generate power position.
