- Initial setup. A handler, 1, starts with the disc near the sideline, marked by D1 who applies a trap mark. A reset, 2, stands 5-8m away, perpendicular to the sideline, guarded by D2. An optional third handler, 3, stands 10m further wide of 2.
- 1 should begin by facing downfield. 2 begins facing 1. 1 initiates the play by turning to face 2. 2 then makes a short cut directly towards their own endzone, and A throws the disc in their path.
