Initial setup. A handler, 1, starts near the middle of the field marked by D1. Two cutters, 2 and 3, stand as though in a horizontal stack, approximately 10m downfield from 1 and around 8m apart. They are guarded by D2 and D3 respectively.
3 cuts under, 2 cuts away.
1 throws to neither; in a game all cuts are viable but the objective of this drill is to practice the cutting patterns, so the initial cuts are ignored. 2 turns to cut under, 3 turns to cut away.
