Initial setup. A handler, 1, starts with the disc in the middle of the width of the field. A reset handler, 2, starts at the front of the stack, approximately 5-8m directly downfield from 1. A cutter, 3, stands directly behind 2. Another cutter, 4, stands directly behind 3. The rest of the cutters line up in the stack, with the back no more than 12m from 1.
The two players at the front of the stack 2 & 3 make decisive cuts directly away from the stack, one each to either side of the field. The aim of this is to drag the defenders closest to the disc away, and to create space near the disc.
Moving D2 and D3 means that 4 now has a clear path towards the disc. 4 cuts directly through the gap for a gut pass from 1.
