- Initial setup. A handler, 1, starts with the disc on the sideline. A reset, 2, starts 3-8m infield, of 1, perpendicular to the sideline, and guarded by D2. A cutter, 3, starts at the back of a vertical stack, 10-12m away from 1, and the remaining players in the vertical stack are angled away from the sideline with the front player no closer than 5m from 1.
- 2 can cut up the line or go back for the dump.
- Scenario 1 - If 2 cuts up line, 2 catches the disc in power position. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/sideline-power-position-trap-force/
- 2 throws to 3 from power position. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/cross-field-away-throw-front-side/
- Scenario 2 - If 2 goes for the dump, 1 throws a swing off the sideline to 2. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/sideline-wrinkle/
- 2 throws continuation to a cutter 3 from the back of the stack. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/cut-underneath-open/
- The stack relocates to an optimal position angled off the sideline. Note: players should begin moving as soon as B releases the disc in Step 6 in order to keep the offence flowing. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/theory/vertical-stack/sideline/
- New stack position. Note: stack position shown for reference; in a real game scenario, you should have an active cutter at this stage. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/positioning-vertical-stack-as-disc-swings/
