- Initial setup. A handler, 1, starts with the disc on the sideline, marked by D1. A reset handler, 2, starts 5-8m infield of 1, guarded by D2. A cutter, 3, starts 8-12m downfield from 1, 5-8m infield. Another cutter, 4, starts 10-12m downfield from 1, near the middle of the width of the field. Remaining cutters form a stack in front of 4.

- Scenario 1 - 3 cuts laterally across the field. 2 can hit 3 by throwing wide into space before the marker D2 catches up. If playing with a third handler, this throw could be a swing instead. - Scenario 1a - If 2 throws to 3, 4 can make a continuation cut. As 2 throws, 1 pushes downfield. If 3 throws to 4 away then end. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/up-under/
- Scenario 1b - If 4 cuts under, 3 throws continuation to 4. After a few quick passes, the offence has moved the disc from the trap sideline to the far side of the field. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/downfield-lateral-cut/
- Scenario 1c - If 4 cannot get the disc, 1 cuts laterally across the field. Repeat replacing 3 with 1 and 2 with 3. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/offset-lateral-cut/
- Scenario 2 - 1 pushes downfield into the open lane. If 2 cannot throw to 3 because D2 has moved across on the mark, then this opens up a lane to throw directly downfield. Tip: It is vital that 2 pivots backwards to fake this throw, moving D2 and giving 1 time to move.
