- Initial setup. A thrower 1 starts with the disc. D1 applies a one way force. 2 sets up as a down field receiver, 10 to 15m away from 1. 2 is marked by D2.
- 2 has 15 seconds to get open, BUT they are only allowed to jog. D2 is allowed run at full speed.
- 2 will move simulating cuts on the field and D2 must adjust their buffer according to the priority spaces.
- D2 must do their best to be in a position to pressure each cut 2 makes - with protecting the open under as a number one priority. Once everyone is familiar with the exercise, allow offence to move at full speed.
