- Initial setup. A handler, 1, starts with the disc in the middle of the field. They are at the front of a stack. A cutter, 2, stands at the front of another stack opposite the first stack, facing 1. The distance between stacks should be 10-20m; the exact distance varies depending on your offensive style and skill level.
- Player 1 begins with the disc, and will throw to a cut from the other queue; in this case, 2. 2 runs out at a 45 degree angle to the field, and 1 throws at the expected receiving space; for maximum effectiveness, 2 should run fast and in a straight line. This makes it easier for 1 to know where to place the disc.
