- A handler, 1, starts with the disc on the sideline marked by a defender. A reset, 2, starts 3-8m infield of 1, perpendicular to the sideline, and guarded by another defender. A cutter, 5, starts at the back of a vertical stack, 10-12m away from 1, and the remaining players in the vertical stack are angled away from the sideline with the front player, 5, no closer than 5m from 1.
- 2 attacks upline. 1 throws to 2. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/lead-pass-trap/
- 2 throws to 5 cutting off the back of the stack. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/diagonal-away-throw-to-diagonal-cut/
- Let's look at another alternative if 1 did not throw to 2.
- 2 continues up the line, and 1 throws to 3 cutting back See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/triangle-reset/
- 3 throws to a continuation cut from 5 at the back of the stack See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/cut-underneath-open/
- 5 throws to 4 cutting away See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/straight-away-throw-to-diagonal_trap-cut/
- Let's look at another scenario if 2 is already open for the reset.
- 1 throws reset to 2. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/sideline-dump/
- 2 throws continuation to the front of stack, 3 cuts underneath on the open side. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/vertical-stack-patterns/
- 3 throws continuation to a cut from the back of the stack, 5 cuts underneath on the open side as well.
- 5 throws to the next player in the stack, 4, cutting away to the break side/ See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/straight-away-throw-to-diagonal_trap-cut/
