- Initial setup. Two players 1 & 2 set up ~3m apart. Receiver 3 sets up deep on the left-hand side. Player 1 has the disc. Optionally, three defenders (D1,D2,D3) set up the front of a zone e.g. 2 chases and a mullet.
- 2 cuts a couple of steps forwards and 1 pops the disc to 2.
- 1 cuts a couple of steps forwards and 2 pops the disc to 1.
- 2 cuts a couple of steps forwards and 1 pops the disc to 2.
- 2 hucks to receiver 3 who cuts deep.
- Defended version set up.
- 1, 2, 3 play organic small-ball offence looking to complete passes and eventually get ahead of the 3 defenders (as 3 does here). D1 ,D2, D3 apply defensive pressure, while aiming broadly to play as the front centre of a zone.
- When a player gets ahead of the defenders (eg 3) they should look to huck choosing the throw that works with their momentum (eg. forehand in this example). The receiver on the opposite side of the pitch cuts to receive this huck.
