- Initial setup. A handler, 1, starts near the middle of the field marked by D1. Two cutters, 2 and 3, stand as though in a horizontal stack, approximately 10m downfield from 1 and around 8m apart. They are guarded by D2 and D3 respectively.
- Here, 3 can either cut under or away.
- If 3 cuts under, 2 cuts away.
- Scenario 1 - 1 throws to 3. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/cut-underneath-break/
- 3 throws immediate continuation to 2 turning under. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/away-to-open-under/
- Scenario 2 - 1 throws immediately to 2 going away. The earlier the throw, the easier to complete, and less chance of 3 getting in the way. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/diagonal-away-throw-to-straight-cut/
- Scenario 3 - 1 throws to neither. 2 turns to cut under, 3 turns to cut away.
- Scenario 3a - 1 throws to 2 coming back under. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/away-to-open-under/
- 2 throws continuation to 3. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/diagonal-away-throw-to-straight-cut/
- Scenario 3b - 1 throws to 3 going away. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/break-under-to-away/
- If 3 cuts away, 2 cuts under.
- Scenario 1 - 1 throws to 2. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/cut-underneath-open/
- 2 throws to 3. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/away-to-break-under/
- Scenario 2 - 1 throws to 3 going away. Note - 1 could throw a variety of shapes here, including inside or around which forces the receiver to do more work, but puts the disc away from D3. - Scenario 3 - 1 throws to neither cut. 3 turns under, 2 turns away.
- Scenario 3a - 1 throws to 3. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/away-to-break-under/
- 3 throws continuation to 2. Note - The throw here is straight as that puts the disc towards the break side and away from D2. See related drill: https://www.flikulti.com/drills/straight-away-throw-to-diagonal_trap-cut/
- Scenario 3b - 1 throws to 2 going away. Note - 1 could throw a variety of shapes here, including inside or around which forces the receiver to do more work, but puts the disc away from D2.
